This makes me so sad because animals are our friends but they are wild. I'm sure the incident was just an instictual reaction on the part of the whale. He was just following his instinct. She was a very brave trainer. pDan |

I heard about the unfortunate incident. I too believe it was just instictual. As we all know accidents I pray that her family and friends will be strong. |

Dawn's body is gone but she is always near. Her spirit is free, but she'll never depart as long as we keep her alive in our heart. Just look for her, she is everyplace!My prayers to the family. God Bless! |

A most beautiful heart wrenching video. Eternal rest to Dawn in the light of God's presence. It is my belief that humans should not interact so closely with the wild and kiler instinct of the whales. They belong in the wild wher, they too, can be free. |

i know she is in heaven watching down on her friends and tilly who she cared for so much i think it was an act of luv what he did not vengence he loved her like she loved him. Dawn was doing what she loved, working with these animals....but again...they are wild animals. God Speed Dawn...may your spirit live on! My heart goes out to your family. |

People will remember Dawn for who she was and what wonderful things she did in life. She loved working with the whales and she was special in that, she had a close relationship with them. May God bless her family and give them strength to carry on through this tragedy. Know that Dawn is looking down from heaven and smiling at everyone because she has done what she wanted in life. We don't know why this occurred, only God does, but obviously it was her time to do something else that God had planned for her. I will continue to pray for the family that they find peace with this incident and remember all the joy and happiness Dawn gave to thousands of children. She did what she loved and loved what she did and shared that with the world. May God bless.

i feel for your sudden lose, i lost a bother to a sudden lost, he was doing what he loved as well. i had talked to him 10 minutes before the sudden lose, my thoughts and prayers go out to the family of dawn. gob bless. |
