Mom your more important... |

I have 2 wishes..One being my home and one being my mother. Fifteen years ago my husband and I finally bought a home , my children almost grown and bringing along my best friend and her new born baby son. We started out renting and the second year we bought with option to buy. At that time we never thought about the outside of the house being wood or the windows not thick enough to keep the cold out. It was ours. I worked at being an Nurse's aide for years then went on to work for a packing company to become a line operator, supplementing my husbands Social Security.. but in 2002 I started suffering a lot of pain in my lower back and legs.. I started falling and work started suffering. I was latter that year diagnosed with neouropathy.. I am diabetic.. gettig worse as the weeks passed I knew I had to quit my job or get hurt bad or hurt someone else. Three days later I was diagnosed with Fibromyalgia.. In Nove of 2005 I suffered a heart attack ect.. then had to have sugery on my right leg due to three blockages and PVD. As it turns out I find out 6 months ago I will be in a wheel chair or scooter by back is deterating. My husband has several things wrong with him from his neck on down drops things and has problems with his heart. We live on Social Security. Almost 8yrs ago we adopted 3 of our grandchildren Joe 13,which we've had him since he was 9months, Thomas 10 we've had since birth and Angel 8 we've had since birth. All I wanted was to give them a good home to grow up in. God knows we have the love to give I feel God gave us these 3 to love and to protect and my life seems so rich everyday..but I watch this house fall apart..where its wood on the outside it is rotting away from the bottom and just the whole house needs so much work. The inside someplaces leak , needs paint ect.. during the winter we have to use kerosene or electric heaters and our electric is 700 to 800 a month. Hubby and I are not able to do the work that is required. I have often thought about sumitting to Americas Extreme Home Makeover lol but they don't help people like us. I need prayers for strength to see this through to be able to find it in us to fix our home. To find the money and save to get it done piece by piece. Then my other wish is for prayers to get us home this June to hubby's kids and father in Ohio to my mother in Pa.. Cliff wanted his mother to get to see the kids but she passed away this past Aug. Now its my wish to get them home to my mother who is 75 suffered 7 heart attacts and a stroke. Its her wish to see her great grandchildren. I know with the lords help we'll make it. We have almost everthing we need to go. Please say your prayers for us for a safe trip. I know we'll make it one way or other. I have a strong belief in God I know that he is with me everyday and walks beside me. Might seem funny to you but I talk to him everyday, I thank him for everything he has given me , no matter what it is. Thank you for taking time to read this just sharing it helps me to feel better. And to ease the tears I cry.
